Weight loss can be hard. Diet and exercise are inexact sciences, and it’s official that there is no way to spot reduce trouble spots naturally. That’s why many people choose to find a weight loss doctor who can help them with medical weight loss programs. Doctor supervised weight loss can include fat removal procedures, specialized diets, and other methods designed to help rid patients of fat fast. Here, we’ll look at two of the major procedures that many looking to find a weight loss doctor are interested in: liposuction and the hCG diet.
Liposuction
Liposuction has maintained popularity because of its ability to target and remove fat in the most problematic areas like the hips, thighs, arms, chest, and abdomen. It can be used alone or combined with procedures like facelifts, breast reductions, or tummy tucks to achieve maximum results. Not everyone is a candidate, however. Patients who are well suited to liposuction are of average or only slightly above average weight, have firm, elastic skin, are in good general health, and have concentrated pockets of fat that don’t disappear with diet and exercise. Those with cellulite are not good candidates because they can develop skin irregularities in the treated area.
After you find a weight loss doctor who has approved you for liposuction, the procedure is scheduled. It might take place at a doctor’s office or surgery center, and most patients go home on the same day. Usually, an anesthetic is administered either locally or generally before the surgeon makes small cuts, inserts a suction device inside the cut, and removes excess fat with a pump or large syringe.
There are two types of liposuction techniques. With tumescent liposuction, the surgeon injects a solution into your fatty areas before removing the fat. Made of saline, painkiller, and epinephrine, the solution helps the surgeon remove the fat more easily, helps reduce blood loss, and eases pain during and after surgery. With ultrasound assisted liposuction, ultrasonic energy liquifies the fat before it is removed from your body.
The hGC Diet
Intended to help patients lose several pounds a day and reset their metabolisms, the hGC diet plan involves extremely low caloric intake, so it is recommended that interested patients find a weight loss doctor before embarking on it. Essentially, the hgc diet plan involves a particular eating cycle supplemented by human chorionic gonadotropin, a hormone produced by a component of a fertilized egg after conception. The hCG itself often comes in the form of a pill or tablet. Essentially, the plan is broken down into two phases. On the first two days, known as the “Loading” or “Gorging Phase,” you eat as much of any food as you like in order to store the fat and energy for phase two. During phase two, however, which lasts from days three to 44, you consume less than 500 calories a day and completely cut out butter, oil, margarine, butter substitutes, dressing, soda, beer, wine, and flavored beverages.
A recommended daily menu looks like this:
- Breakfast: tea, yerba mate, or coffee without sugar with only one tablespoon of milk.
- Lunch and Dinner:
- 100 grams of broiled or grilled organic, grass fed beef, veal, chicken breast, fresh white fish, lobster, crab, or shrimp with all visible fat removed before cooking.
- Two cups of one of the following: spinach, chicory, beet greens, green salad, tomatoes, celery, fennel, onions, red radishes, cucumbers, asparagus, cabbage.
- One breadstick or one Melba toast
- An apple, orange, handful of strawberries, or half grapefruit.

I’ve heard that hGC is actually really unsafe. It kicks your body into starvation mode.
Maybe I’m crazy, here, but DIET AND EXERCISE! Stop being lazy and go to the gym.
